We built MyClassHelp on quality and trust. Our refund policy is designed to be transparent and fair. If we fail to deliver on our promises, you shouldn't pay. Last Updated: December 11, 2025.

Our Core Promise

Our goal is a high-quality academic reference paper, delivered on time. If the work provided is plagiarized, fails to follow your instructions, or is delivered late, you are entitled to a refund. We handle every request case-by-case to ensure fairness.

When Do We Offer a 100% Full Refund?

You are eligible for a complete refund (including transaction fees) in the following situations:

  • Failing Grade (F): If the work we delivered results in a failing grade. (Proof required: Professor's feedback/Grading rubric).
  • Plagiarism > 20%: If a reliable checker (Turnitin) detects significant plagiarism not related to bibliography/quotes.
  • Missed Deadline: If we fail to deliver the work by your specified deadline and you no longer need it.
  • Double Payment: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same order.
  • No Writer Found: In rare cases where we cannot match you with a qualified expert within 24 hours.

Do you refund for a 'C' grade?

If you ordered a specific grade level (e.g., 'A or B Guaranteed') and received a C, we offer a partial refund (typically 30-50%) to adjust the price to a standard level. We stand by our quality guarantees.

Partial Refund Scenarios

Sometimes a full refund isn't applicable, but compensation is due. We offer partial refunds (20% - 70%) if:

  • Minor Instructions Missed: The writer missed a specific requirement (e.g., used 3 sources instead of 5), but the paper is still usable.
  • Late Delivery (Still Used): We missed the deadline by a small margin, but you still submitted the paper.
  • Formatting Errors: The paper content is good, but citation style (APA/MLA) was incorrect.

The 'Revision First' Policy

Before a refund is processed for quality issues, we reserve the right to offer a Free Revision. Often, a writer simply needs clarification to fix the issue. If the revised paper still does not meet the initial requirements, the refund process proceeds.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are NOT granted in the following scenarios:

  • Change of Mind (Post-Delivery): You simply decided you don't want the paper after it was written.
  • Subjective Quality: Claims like 'I don't like the writing style' without pointing to specific rubric failures.
  • Delayed Materials: If the order was late because you forgot to upload necessary files/books.
  • Editing Orders: If you ordered 'Editing/Proofreading' but expected a full rewrite.
  • Lower Grade than Expected (No Guarantee): If you did not select a specific grade guarantee add-on.

Order Cancellation & 'Point of No Return'

Our cancellation policy is designed to protect our writers' time. Once a writer accepts your order and begins work, we are obligated to compensate them. Therefore, refund eligibility changes instantly based on the Order Status:

⚠️ Important

Why can't I cancel after a writer is assigned?

Once you receive the 'Writer Assigned' notification, a qualified expert has blocked out their schedule and started researching your specific topic. Canceling at this stage would mean they worked for free. To ensure fair labor practices, we cannot offer cash refunds on orders that are already In Progress.

Exceptions & Store Credit

We understand emergencies happen. If you must cancel an 'In Progress' order shortly after assignment (e.g., within 1 hour), contact support immediately. While a cash refund is not possible, we may (at our sole discretion) offer a partial Store Credit for future use.

How to Request a Refund

To open a dispute, follow these steps within 14 days of receiving your final paper:

  • Step 1: Email support@myclasshelp.com with your Order ID.
  • Step 2: Clearly state the reason (e.g., Plagiarism, Grade Requirement Not Met).
  • Step 3: Attach proof (Turnitin report, Professor's comments, screenshots).
  • Step 4: Our Quality Assurance team will review the case within 3-5 business days.

Chargeback & Fraud Policy

We take chargeback fraud seriously. If you file a dispute with your bank (Chargeback) without contacting us first:

  • Your account will be permanently banned.
  • We reserve the right to report the incident to academic fraud databases.
  • We will contest the chargeback with evidence of delivery (logs, file downloads, chat history).

Please contact us first. We are very reasonable and prefer to solve issues directly with students.

Store Credit vs. Cash Refunds

You may choose to receive your refund as Store Credit (Wallet Balance). Store credit refunds are processed instantly and often include a 10% bonus for future orders. Cash refunds to your bank take 5-10 business days depending on your bank's processing times.
